when?

When did your labor start? I'm 80% effaced and 1 cm dilated. Before I left my appointment today, I told my doctor I would see her next week and she says or maybe you won't! I just wanted to know what everyone elses experiences were like.

At my 38 week appointment I was 1cm not effaced. That was on a Thursday and that following Monday morning my water broke randomly and I was 2 cm.

I went into the DR a few days before my due date and was only a finger tip dilated. She actually said I would go over. August 20th I was on a bus coming home from NYC and the bus hit a bump. My contractions started immediately at 7:57 pm. I got home, ate chinese and called an ambulance at 10:57 pm. She was born August 21st at 1:59 am   My due date was August 22nd btw.

My doctor thought I would go early because I was having regular contractions.. Well I had those regular contractions for a month lol. And still had to be induced. Everyone is different so you could go soon or you could go to your due date or even past it. Just depends on what baby wants.

Both of my babies were born in my 38th week and I was about 80-90% effaced, 1-2 cm dilated and with both my water broke.
