Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" I had my phone ring off the hook. I never answered since I knew they would want to stop by at stay for long. To this day some of my family is butthurt."That's what I am praying for that with me saying I want no calls and such that people won't take it upon themselves to just stop by! It drives me nuts. Wanting to hold the baby and talk for hours. Like I am not tired and want to have a normal day.
Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Mum to a Monster:</b>" yes and it went MUCH WORSE. They then ... [snip!] ... but just dont open the door and say you were naooing or didnt here the door bell. Omg I would be mad if they come unexpected."
Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Ashleyx4:</b>" That's what I am praying for that with me saying ... [snip!] ... day. "</blockquote> I know is like they dont give a smurf that you did all the work and been tired the previous days."
Quoting Ashleyx4:" Yep so far so good, my calcium blocker they gave me has kept my contractions at bay. I am dilated more, ... [snip!] ... I go quick so I just told him to watch! I generally don't have to push. Plus once my water breaks it is usually minutes. "
Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Ashleyx4:</b>" It is funny to me because doctors and midwives ... [snip!] ... since I am considerate to let them bond and rest the first days weeks. Geesh dont you wish people would do the same as me. Lol"I know I am the same!!!! Plus when I do a visit I bring a mommy gift not baby, and if they have siblings I bring them a gift of activities.
Quoting Just Andria:" WOW!!! I could not imagine having a baby with no epidural. I'm one of those who would probably knaw ... [snip!] ... nothing! That's exciting you are going to do it at home. If I could have an anesthiesiologist at home with me I would do it!"My first three were without meds. I have no idea what pain meds are like. I even refused pain meds for after delivery. This will be our first UC but my husband is so excited since it is his first. I am getting numb to how people are judgemental about it. But I hate hospitals and for me it is the right choice as long as he isn't to early. Which at this point he is great and meds seem to be working.
Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Just Andria:</b>" WOW!!! I could not imagine having a baby ... [snip!] ... have an anesthiesiologist at home with me I would do it!"</blockquote> All mine were natural and I dont regret it."I am a firm believer in it. After I had mine I was up and about within seconds! NO JOKE. Plus the pain stops right away after they are born. My deliveries are quick too so makes it easy for me. There is a lot of studies done that show if you go natural you have faster births. If you use pain meds it slows it. But some women's bodies fight contractions instead of just letting it happen so they would be slowed anyways and need an epi. But that isn't me. I go with it.

Quoting Just Andria:" I wouldn't care to much about what anyone thinks about you doing it at home. To each their own. Very cool your meds are working. Hopefully it stays that way so you can be at home."We just keep praying. I think I need another shot soon for his lungs. But we are getting closer and closer. So I am just trying to be stress free and relax.
Quoting ___RAIDERETTE___:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Mum to a Monster:</b>" at that time I had a 9 and a 12 yearold ... [snip!] ... a 9 and a 12 yearold who just let them in."</blockquote> Oh hell no. Thats sucks! Is like you didnt had no choice."
