That's what I am praying for that with me saying I want no calls and such that people won't take it upon themselves to just stop by! It drives me nuts. Wanting to hold the baby and talk for hours. Like I am not tired and want to have a normal day.

It is funny to me because doctors and midwives say rest rest rest. Well how can you if your phone is ringing and people stop by? I felt if I gave everyone a warning that it is only fair to reject their call and not text back. Trust me my phone is like my right hand always there. But if I have time I will check facebook. I really hate to put all the responsibility on my husband and he was like NO WAY I want peace.

I know that is stupid nosy people for ya. Usually I wait to go visit someone after they have their baby since I am considerate to let them bond and rest the first days weeks. Geesh dont you wish people would do the same as me. Lol

WOW!!! I could not imagine having a baby with no epidural. I'm one of those who would probably knaw of my right leg if it made the pain of contractions go away. lol I definately have some serious respect for all of the women who do it with nothing! That's exciting you are going to do it at home. If I could have an anesthiesiologist at home with me I would do it!

I know I am the same!!!! Plus when I do a visit I bring a mommy gift not baby, and if they have siblings I bring them a gift of activities.

My first three were without meds. I have no idea what pain meds are like. I even refused pain meds for after delivery. This will be our first UC but my husband is so excited since it is his first. I am getting numb to how people are judgemental about it. But I hate hospitals and for me it is the right choice as long as he isn't to early. Which at this point he is great and meds seem to be working.

I am a firm believer in it. After I had mine I was up and about within seconds! NO JOKE. Plus the pain stops right away after they are born. My deliveries are quick too so makes it easy for me. There is a lot of studies done that show if you go natural you have faster births. If you use pain meds it slows it. But some women's bodies fight contractions instead of just letting it happen so they would be slowed anyways and need an epi. But that isn't me. I go with it.

I wouldn't care to much about what anyone thinks about you doing it at home. To each their own. Very cool your meds are working. Hopefully it stays that way so you can be at home.

We just keep praying. I think I need another shot soon for his lungs. But we are getting closer and closer. So I am just trying to be stress free and relax.
