I agree!! Isabella has less then 1% but I am 23 weeks and she is still hanging on!! I was told to terminate by the first DR without any explanation on what was wrong with her! I was ready to kill him LOL..I am now back to my orgianl DR who is awesome!! I know whats going to happen, I know she will not make it. I have pre-term labor which will not help her. But at least I can say I tried for her, that I didnt give up on her because she wasnt "perfect" in socities eyes or the medical field. She is perfect in my eyes! I am glad your little one pulled through!! Your a awesome mama!!

You'll never hear be complain about the goverment using money to feed, shelter and cloth needy children, ever!! On the otherhand, if mom wants to make some more crappy choices and chooses to spend her welfare check on her hair and nails.. yes, I will complain about that because again, it's not her money and she shouldn't be able to "choose" to spend it on nonsense that it's not meant to be used for. If a mom needs some help with shelter or food for the children, I'll happily see tax dollars go to them.. for her hair, nails, tattoos.. not so much.

What do they say she has? I went into labor at 26 weeks from a placenta tear and they told me she had an 80 percent chance at that point. She was born at 29 weeks and had a 90 percent chance, it was the abruption itself, an e-coli infection and then whooping cough that almost took her from us on 3 different times.. what a roller-coaster that was.

That bites my ass!! I see women who get their hair,nails, done..nice clothes..and then their chikldren have high waters on with holy shoes and rats nest hair!..They use their children for money! They are no mothers!..Ok they are mothers but just deadbeats. I am with you ..I do not mind paying into a program that EVERYONE can use, that helps families. That I can and have used, Foodstamps etc. ..but the mentality of do not tell me what to do , but hey you better pay for it!! WTH?? Ok what are you( in general) 14 year old turdball!!

Oh she has full trisomy 18...Many babies do not survive and those who do ..have alot of problems! Many surgeries etc..I am aprt of a T18 group and almost daily a baby gains her/his wings.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You are right about the chances being very, very low but there is always that chance and you are giving it to her. I hope she gets to see your face and hear your voice. God love her. A friend of mine lost her little boy at 24 weeks (just to being premature), they had a photographer capture his 20 minutes of life, she told me that if she had to do it all again just for those 20 minutes with him, she would. It only takes a second for that baby to fill your soul with love. She'll always be your little girl and I'm sure she will be absolutely beautiful!! Be sure to take lots of pictures.. No matter the outcome, she's going to make you proud to be her mommy!!

See, foodstamps I agree with because they can at least kind of regulate what you buy with them. Don't even get me started on welfare though. I'm a body piercer in a tattoo shop and the 1st few days of every month are our BUSIEST days because everyone gets their welfare checks and runs right out to get piercings and tattoos. I live in a smurffy city but still...it should be regulated in some way!
Also when I used to work at Walgreens they would come in with the cash section of their EBT card and buy cigarettes. Disgusting!

I have an 8 year old daughter. Love her to death. I had an abortion AFTER her. Again, order makes no difference.
