you dont have to keep the baby..... many couple look to adopt children that cant have them you just dont have to kill them either. Thats people problem no value for life a baby is a blessing not a curse and if you didnt want children you should be more careful use protection... I have know woman who get abortion after abortion it's just that simple for them like they are just changing their underwear out with one in with the next.... and ur telling me thats ok?

Not everyone can handle an adoption mentally. Not everyone can mentally handle a pregnancy.

I don't agree with abortion as contraception but pregnancy can be very traumatizing for some mothers and the thought of keeping a baby inside them and giving birth is the worst thing that can happen to them. So is it ok to make a messed up woman just so a fetus can survive? There are so many different circumstances - it's selfish to say outright that someone's choice is wrong.

Agreed! you never know that situation someone was in. Also like the not forced but almost cornered by their parents or boyfriend to get an abortion. I had one friend whos parents told her get an abortion or you will be living on the streets.

I agree with you there. That's really smurfed up and I've seen the same thing. Its disgusting.
I don't agree with abortion for sefish reasons, but in some cases if the mom could die or if she was raped and very emotionally scarred by it, then that's understandable to me.
I don't agree with abortion, but I don't think it should be completely outlawed.
I just hope girls do it as early as possible and I don't want to hear about it

I'd live on the streets before I let anyone tell me to have an abortion.
There are so many shelters and programs. Welfare, food stamps, assisted housing etc and that's not leeching off the governemnt, those programs were meant for situations like that.

I agree with you and I would do the same but sadly there are a lot of women that would let people control them like that.

yeah but think about it. Many young teenagers who find out their pregnant are tramutised as it is, and then for parents who are suppose to be the support system tell her that she has to get it or be homeless, in the mind state she is welfare, etc is not the first thing that comes to mind.

Yes if she didnt want that baby. Its not your body. Its not like oyu were going to adopt every "baby" that she aborted. You are so quick to judge and say adoption. Yeah its wonderful but do you really know how hard adoption and abortion is on a woman? Do you know how adoption agencies are with selection and how they only tailor to the adoptive parents needs?

Idk in my years on BG I have seen girls come out after years of silence and completely break down about an abortion their parents or boyfriend made them have when they were younger that still kills them to this day and they wish they never did.
I can't imagine a parent trying to force theiru own child to do something like that, but that's a wholleleeee nother thread and conversation llol there are a lot of things that bother me in life but like I said, while I don't agree I don't think it should be illegal. I think maybe there should be some sort of one on one counseling where you learn all your options etc to at least make an educated decision though.

Yep, I am. If it's what the woman wants then hey, that's between her and her conscience.

And no, they don't have to keep the baby, they can adopt it out.. as long as it's a perfectly healthy sparkling (preferably white) new born.

My sister has 6 kids. 4 of which she was taking contraception to prevent. She should just stop smurfing in general I suppose. Hell, my aunt has 7 kids but aborted her 8th because she was in the process of leaving her husband.

Whether they have one abortion or a hundred, it's no ones business but their own.

I think it should be lowered.
There should be exceptions, IMO, but exceptions aside, a woman has a substantial amount of time to decide on abortion and go through with it, I don't see a point in waiting and I do not feel it should be done when the baby can survive outside of the womb.
