re: Lower abortion limit

I agree and abortion is an abortion, if youre pro-choice how does how its done make a difference, if you think a women should have the right to choose that means no matter how its done.

I agree.. but also kinda not.

Going through NICU with my preemie, I saw my share of 23/24 weekers and all I can say really is my son was one of the lucky ones.. one of the very, very few lucky ones to come out with out any major disabilities or brain damage.

But at the same time that was 12.5 years ago now. Things have probably improved from then too.

I love my baby as soon as I find out I'm pregnant. I had a miscarriage last year at 9 weeks and I felt like my world had ended. I was miserable for months. My baby died, whether I was 9 weeks or 24 weeks my baby still died.
I'm 13 weeks now and I love this baby as much as I love my 2 yr old son.

ETA: I guess it's different for you being a first time mom, but once you see your baby(once you give birth) you will feel completely different during following pregnancies

Ehhh, I agree and I don't on this too. Partial birth abortions I don't agree with in any way at all. Not one iota. Nope, nada and zip. I am against them with every fiber of my being.

Yeah - I did love my baby from the get go but it was all very very surreal and then when I felt her all squirming about it made it very real for me and it was the cutest thing ever so although I did love her before it felt like I fell deeper in love with her around that time. It felt like she was a real baby and not something that I hoped was there but didn't have any physical evidence that she was there.

Agreed. I personally think if you want an abortion, unless medically neccasary or in cases of rape or incest, i do believe you should try and get it in the first trimester. To be honest I know someone who was pregnant and knew she wanted an abortion from the getgo but only got it when she was in the second trimester, closer to the middle

I understand   once you have her, if you ever get pregnant again, it will feel very real right from the beginning because you'll have another one of her inside you! I do remember feeling like that with my son though now that you describe it, it just seems like so long ago I had forgotten.

Well i am prolife but i still believe their are many situations where a woman should be able to have an abortion if NEEDED not just because you didnt use protection and had a boo boo a baby shouldn't have to pay for your mistake... i think 24 weeks is to late i mean i am a mother of 4 just had my 4th Sept 18th of this year i could start to feel him move around 19-20weeks when i start to feel it is always the best time for me. It's that moment when your like OMG thats my son/daughter thats a part of you in their i could never do it but have known lots of people who have.
