i am 32 weeks 3 days and dilated! NOT GOOD!

For those of you ladies who have not really had any pain BUT have had an increase in discharge (clear liquid enough to have to wear panty liner/pad, or a yellowish mucus) and lots of pressure you can still have the chance of being dilated! I am already a 2 as of yesterday. I have not experienced feeling ANY of the contractions :/ so yeah.

To be honest that doesn't really mean much. I know people who were at 2-3 and went over due. I was at 2 for awhile and didn't go into labor.

  I was at 2 cm for a week and a half and the only reason I progressed was because I was induced and I had icky discharge just like OP. lol

I started dilating at 28 Weeks with my first pregnancy and ended up being 5 cm at 39 Weeks and still lasted another week lol. The doctor even tried to break my water st my last appointment it didn't work. But I do know how scary it can seem as this time around it worries Me a lot, but I do think.its normal from what I've seen and as long as the doctor isnt to worried about try not to stress over it ya know.

i was 2 cm at 28 weeks at 37.6 i was 3-4 i had my son the next day at 38 so just cuz ur dilated doesnt mean anythin x

I was at 4cm dilated at my 36 week appointment, and he was 5 days late.

Means nothing really.. You could be dilated for weeks before giving birth..

Im 39 weeks and 3 days and im not dilated or anything im having contractions that's it.so consider yourself lucky but your only 32 weeks so.you,have aways

The only reason I am concerned so much is I am high risk to preterm labor. My 2 year old daughter was born at 31 weeks and I started dilating at 29 weeks. Nothing could stop my labor. It slowed it but once I hit labor labor they tried to give me magnesium to stop it but it only postponed for a few hours. And even though I am further this time I know already I will be having this one in a max of 3 weeks. I have been through this before and know my body. I just want others to be prepared if its their first baby and experience the same thing. I know people can be dilated for weeks and months but I am prepared for anything and am packing mine and the babys bag today cause pains have started and have not stopped even with the strict bed rest and not picking up my daughter. Sorry if I sound crazy or something but I am hoping for the best and setting up for the worst.

I'm 4cm.dilated n have been contracting for 6 long days n my due date is saturday. Every pregnancy is different maybe you'll go full term this time.
