New car registration tx?

Ok so we got our car in August when we lived in WA and didn't get out license plates before we moved to Texas. The paper license in the window says 10-3-12 so today is the last day it is good. We are going to get it inspected tomorrow an ten goin to get it registered.

Can we do it all even though we don't have real license plates and about how much will all that cost us?

If u bought it from a dealer they have to do it otherwise ur going to pay a smurf load my new registartion and issing a licines was 500 but we paid 200.

We bought it in washington but have now moved to Texas so now need to register it here.

Id call the tax collectors off but when we got our tag it was a lot but if u had the tag from washinton to exchane i dont think itd be as much.

It was 180 bucks

Thats not bad its 75 just for the registration here and then if i didnt have a plate they would charge me for that so it is expensive here.
