will medicaid cover a doc band in florida?

yeah :/ because i'm not sure how we're going to pay for it. and i feel like a smurf parent because he needs it and we can't afford it.

OP- from what I am seeing on google it doesnt appear medicaid will, in fact most insurances dont cover it. But a lot of places have payment plans.

yeah, i've been googling all night and didn't see anything positive either. :/ but i posted on here in the hopes that maybe someone on here as actually experienced this in florida and might have some input. i hope the payment plan is really lenient :/

I was told mine should cover my son's if he needs it. At least that's what his therapist said.

If he needs it, he needs it. You get it for him and do what you can. Cut corners where you can. If you smoke, quit... cut back on your cell phone bill by downgrading to a lower plan and a lesser phone (this means no smart phone!).... cut back on cable channels. Cut back wherever you can. Sit down and write down all your monthly expenses and your income, and see where it all goes. Where there's a will, there's a way. It may mean getting another job or your SO getting another one. You do what you have to do for your child!

is this the molding helmet??or something else??? we do the cranial molds here at work and medicaid pays them..other insurance not so lucky lol
