One thing I never rely on is child support. Just sayin!

I didn't know child support went to the mother, I thought it was for the kid. So why are you concerned that he hasn't paid for your bus pass? I could be wrong, since I have never been in such situation.

that's not the case obviously its going for the kid but as he suppose to pay half of the day care which would be $175 and he doesn't I have to pay the full amount which is $350 and because he is not paying anything for his son and I have to pay everything I can barely even afford to buy a bus pass for myself as i'm going to school and not planing on quitting just because I'll be tight on money for couple of months. It just make the situation harder if you know what I mean

I've gotten two payments in over 3 years.

guess I wont get more than you, he only gave me one check which was the $50 one

oh he will give it to you, you need to go to the court. have it automatically taken out of his check. My dad did that and you are getting ALOT for one kid, my mom only got $400 and that was for 4 kids. So really $100 a child in her case. WOW, times have changed. well maybe it's time to get a job or a second one? I know you have school but what is more important? Having money NOW and taking care of your kid or school and totally struggling. Sometimes you can take a semester off, I think that is what you should do.

I'm on a student visa so can't work until February-March
