Should I push through the pain?

So yesterday I started running for the first time in four years, three rounds around housing and I was done, today even tho I was very sore, I went for two rounds around housing. Now two hours later and I feel like I'm paralyzed. Like no joke I feel my hip joint getting this much closer to giving out with each step. I know when it comes to working out what counts is what you do after it starts hurting, but i dk if that's healthy in this case, with this amount of pressure. Should I push through the pain or wait a couple of days for my muscles to repair?

Don't go every single day and make sure you stretch REALLY well. Maybe do yoga one day, running the next. Mix it up a little. I made the mistake of not stretching before my 30K this summer and I was hurting by the end lol

The more you do it, the easier it gets. Took me a week after I started jogging for my body to not feel like it is dying.

If it hurts too much to run, just walk at a fast pace...just until you build up that routine of doing it everyday. Once you stop for a day, it is hard not to put off another day and so forth. If you can't walk, even, find something else to do that will work you out. ((Yoga day/wii fit/etc))

Well it was my plan to do cardio one day, abs the next, because it started off as a getting in shape before the ball thing, and after doing yoga and abs for two weeks it kinda got more serious. I'm too scared of getting lazy and not doing it anymore.

Rest! i did this and if you do too much your body will not heal correctly. Also stretch afterwards, its way more important than stretching before. its good to stretch before but, its way more beneficial afterwards.

Also if you eat protein after working out its supposed to help too.

dont push yourself so hard if your body isnt use to doing it. build up to doing that much.
