Fertile period

When are you fertile? In relation to when your last period ends? And how can you tell?

2 weeks before my next one it seems like.

most women have 28-30 day cycles, in which case you're most fertile right in the middle, so like 2 wks after your period starts is generally when you ovulate. you can O earlier or later though. there are some signs of when you are ovulating, they're different for each person though. you tend to get a little crampy, horny, have CM, etc

about 14-16 days after my LMP.

I can def. tell. My vagina gets kind of swollen and tender and I have super obvious egg white discharge.

When my ovarie starts stabbing itself with a knife accompanied by cm.

Not to sound ignorant but what is cm?

My cycles way back in the day were 21-23 days. I haven't had periods regularly since the beginning of 2007. So how would I calculate that? (By cycle I mean end of one and start of the next. Super lucky right here   )

do you have an idea how long your cycles are now? I'd recommend downloading an app like MyDays to track when you start & end your periods.

CM is cervical mucus.

umm interesting story, I was planning on using it to help. we started having unprotected sex 1 wk before my next period was due, which I figured was too late to get pregnant. well I guess I O'd pretty damn late lol.

TMI TMI TMI

No. I just got Mirena removed on the 24th of Oct. and my 1st period or whatever from that was the 26-29. Sorry if that's TMI. And other than that between pregnancies and breastfeeding I've only had about 5 periods in the past 5.5 years, not including postpartum drainage or whatever you want to call it.
I'm sorry for the TMI, but I'm trying to figure out when to NOT have sex. I'm not on BC and don't want to end up pregnant again right now. Condoms are only so effective so I would like to try to figure out when sex should be completely off limits.

if you've only had 5 periods in the past 5 yrs, I'd be pretty damn wary about having sex... are you not getting back on any BC?
