Put some vics on his feet and cover with some socks that have been warmed in the dryer. Sounds weird but works. Lol.

He isn't old enough for any cough syrup. I would make him a tea if honey and lemon.

Put the Vics on his chest and feet, take him in the bathroom and shut the door...Turn the shower on all the way hot and let the room steam up. After breathing that for 5-10 minutes, it should help his cough!

Also, is it childrens tylenol? That should help!

There's been a nasty bug going around lately. It caught up to me, too!

Hylands has a homeopathic nightime cold and cough you can get. Put the vicks vapor rub on the bottom of his feet and put socks on him. Hope he feels better soon mama

My daughter is five and we were told to not give any cough medicines as they NEED to cough up all the crap and suppressing it just makes it worse or makes them cough for longer.

Macie has started the same thing. The vicks works wonders for her.. Sometimes she gets really bad though, and has to get a shot.

I think it's different for different coughs. If it's a dry cough, medicine is probably a good idea. But...also, the wet coughs are the most miserable kind, even though you need to cough all of that junk up.

Nope she had a dry cough for 3 weeks and the doc said it will pass in time and not to give any meds to supress it.

Diff docs say diff things though, but she was right, her cough went away with time.

Hylands cough and cold. Is dye free and sugar free. Totally reccomend this. They have the daytime as well as the nightime and is for 2 years and up. They also have cough syrup with honey. Look into it it has some good reviews as well.

Hope your lil one feels better : (

Yes it's childrens tylenol. It's weird that he's okay pretty much all day but at night he coughs so much

That actually does make sense. & I'm usually really uptight about giving him any medicine at all... but he doesn't sleep well when he's coughing at night, & neither do I. He has a really easy gag reflex so I'm worried he's going to throw up when he coughs so much. Poor baby.

Is it when he's laying down? I know that when I have a really wet cough, when I lay down it feels like I'm smothering, so I cough like crazy. Try the shower and vics and maybe prop his pillow up a little bit, so he isn't laying so flat?

Yeah he lays flat, his pillow is so flat it's hardly there, he likes it that way haha. But I'll have to prop him up so maybe he'll sleep better throughout the night.. He fell asleep now, but if he wakes up I'll definitely try the vicks & the shower thing. Thank you!!
