I think he may have been over tired!! Hopefully that means he sleeps well tonight   and the growth spurt may have something to do with it.

My son went through this when he was about 2-3 weeks old. I wanted to cry with him. I thought it was colic or gas but it turns out he's allergic to cow's milk. After about 4 days of me not having any dairy products, he was a completely different baby.
Milk allergies are actually really common, too. Maybe try cutting out dairy for a week or so and see if that helps?
Good luck! I know how sad and frustrating it can be when your baby cries for hours. Make sure you take plenty of breaks for your sanity!

Hey so the end results went like this; he cried for about 12 hours, with a half hour break at some point where he slept and he wasn't crying while he ate.. Obviously he'd be pretty talented if he could cry with a mouth full of boob.
He fell asleep at about 5pm, slept till 8pm, it's now 11.30pm and he's awake again..
Pretty hard to settle him..
But he seems a little calmer so hopefully he sleeps tonight.. I live in hope.

Good luck! How'd the night end up going? My son cries while nursing all the time, lmao. He just goes mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmm! Instead of wah wah.

He went to sleep at 12, woke at 3.30 for feeding, back to sleep, woke up at 5, fed again, woke at 6.30 fed again, went to sleep, then woke at 8.30 for another feed, now he's asleep again.

Maybe your bubs says mmmmmmmm cause it's tasty   hehe.

He does that sometimes too, lol. But I can tell by the tone and the look on his face if he is crying or saying yum, haha. He never stops making noises.
