anyone have the mirena IUD??

I have that IUD and I just had my first period with this IUD. But its not even a period I keep spotting, I will stop and then start again. And Im also having thia really bad pain it king of feels like its in my vaginal canal but it feels like stabbing pain not cramps, but really painful. Anyone ever had this happen and know why???

I spotted like that for 3 months. And sometimes I get horrible cramps like what you're having. Not sure why either, haven't had it for a month or so. If I get them again I'm getting it pulled out.

Yep. It knocks the breath out of you sometimes. Just got mine removed today after two yrs of bullsmurf

Mirena sucks.

I had 2 periods a month for 6 month when I had mine. I also got stabbing pains but instead of them being in my vag it felt like the stabbing was up in my rectum. They were very painful and They didn't stop until I got mirena removed. I will never get it again

I have an acquaintance who also felt the same conditions exactly like yours after using the Mirena IUD. This pain in her lower portion has been coming on a regular basis.
