False sense of security about BH?

posted 2nd Oct
I'm 33 weeks and have just started experiencing noticeable Braxton-Hicks contractions. I've had them before (typically after having an orgasm), but I've never really noticed them. Anyway, they're now feeling like everyone usually describes them: overall tightening, not painful, etc.etc. What I'm wondering, though, is if they get worse. I've heard women complain about how they find BH so uncomfortable and terrible, but what I've been dealing with isn't even uncomfortable. If I'm honest, I kind of enjoy how it feels. It just feels like my stomach slowly tensing up and releasing a few minutes later. I'd go so far as to call it downright pleasant.
I'm scared I'm getting into a false sense of security about them, though. So I'm bringing it here to hear other ladies' experiences: do BH contractions get worse, or is this what I can expect until actual labor comes after me?
Thanks in advance!

They could get more uncomfortable. Some women find them never painful, some women find them always painful. The few that I have had have been quite uncomfortable, feeling almost like period cramps.

Mine never hurt. I actually thought it was just my baby stretching for the first several weeks it was happening.

The second time they got a little uncomfortable toward the end, like mild, mild cramps.

Mine have always been at least uncomfortable, now nearing the end of my pregnancy and this baby getting large I get a good amount of pain. I think it's the combination of how strong they are, then causing baby to move or push her head against my cervix or sciatic nerve. Then the pelvis hurts, hips and backside and vagina hurt..low back pain. I'm pretty smurfing miserable if I'm walking for more than half an hour..if that. Sitting hurts now too, especially with the BH and her hitting that nerve and my cervix. This is my third though,I am in a lot more pain this time around.

Thanks, ladies!
I'm feeling pretty good about this now. I've had a few sharp little vaginal pains and some back pain here and there. At the worst, though, I've just felt achy a few times while being pregnant.
I DO have an extremely high pain tolerance, so I guess I can attribute the lack of discomfort to that.
Hope everyone with worse pain feels better soon!
