Quoting Laneys*Mama:" I'm just curious as to what the most popular "religion" is on BG. So... What religion are you? Tell ... [snip!] ... this particular belief system. If you feel the need to discuss someone else's religion and beliefs, please try to be nice! "
BacktoNoobism. It is fairly new and unheard of!

I am spiritual with no connection to organized religion. I believe the greatest truths all come from within

I don't really like to label myself. I believe in many different things that fall under categories of various spiritualities and religions. I strongly believe in reincarnation. I believe all living things (plants and animals alike) are connected. I believe in spirits (friendly and demonic). I am also very scientifically minded- I think there are logical explanations for just about everything.

Just kidding.

I was baptized Lutheran, but I'm sure the last time I set foot in a Lutheran church was for my baptism in 1990. Growing up my family just identified themselves as Christians, as did I. Now...I'm an Atheist, I guess. I don't believe in a higher power, I don't pray to any gods, I don't believe in anything to really identify myself with.
I help people because I'm kind, not because god wants me to be or because it's the "Christian thing to do". When I screw up I don't think it's because I'm weak or that I was swayed by satan, I just made a smurffy decision. If I'm going to thank anyone for the food on my table it would be my husband and anyone involved in the process to get it to my table. I never thanked god for my son or called him a miracle, but I have thanked my husband.
I honestly just haven't given my place in religion much thought since I was 15, but began questioning every thing around the age of 10. I'm here today, I should enjoy the people I have in my life right now and weed out the smurffy ones because tomorrow I could be worm food. I tend to remain silent in religious talk IRL since most people who talk to me about religion have their faith invested somewhere in the sky, and I do not. I just nod my head because I'd rather not come off as offensive if their faith or actions do good, who I am to tell someone that they can't believe in some thing just because I don't? Granted, I don't want to hear that I should believe in whatever they're selling, but silence is typically better for me since it's a debate not worth having IMO.

I'm a non practising Irish Catholic. I'm probably more agnostic than anything else, I don't really like organised religion and have a lot of faith in science too.

I am a Christian. I believe that Science does not exist without God. I believe that Jesus dies on the cross and rose again. I believe in heaven and hell. I believe that The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. I believe that as a Christ follower, Love should be my number one priority in this life. Real, genuine, unconditional love for everyone. I live my life to serve my Savior. I love to learn about people and their beliefs. My husband and I are firm believers in living out your beliefs in such a way, that you don't have to "preach" at people. It's important to be Jesus in every way possible, and be real about it. Hypocrisy is something we try to keep at a minimum. We teach our kids to love everyone, respect people, and that things are just things, and to be able to give anything you own up at any time. Because its not about the things we have in life. If nothing else in this life, I want to live for Christ, raise my kids know the truth, and be the best wife that Nate can have!

I'm agnostic. I don't presume to know what happens after death, because I am still alive.

I was raised in a New Age Spiritualistic home. At the age of 19 I converted to Christianity. I am still a follower of Jesus. I can understand people who are skeptical....it isn't easy to accept things based on faith. But it works for me.
