could you talk to the other parents? maybe they don't like this either..

I need to find a way to talk to them. Maybe if we all get together we can at least get it reduced.

How would you all suggest dealing with her talking and getting up. I know shes doing it even if she says shes not. Shes a child that will say whatever to not get into any kind of trouble.

I would talk to the teacher. . . maybe she is trying to get your input or see if you think your daughter could be ADD, or ADHD? Or if you have noticed any signs of that . . My daughter just started pre school , and her teachers are " hinting " around that she has a problem " adjusting" and what not . . . but I have already talked to a doctor about my daughter, because I am pretty sure she has some kind of hyper active disorder. . . just a thought in case you ever wondered if she might have something like that .

See I have asked her doctor and he says its an age thing. That we will re-evaluate in a few months. I believe that there is a possibility of add or ADHD but I don't really want her on meds. So this causes another issue.

yea I fully understand that. . . I am just wondering if that is why the teacher is bringing it up so much . . maybe she is trying to hint around to you . And if that is the case , when you go to the doctor maybe they can recommend something else to help with the behavior? I know here where I live , the doctor said they have to have a school teacher recommend her be evaluated further for it , that just me saying something is not good enough. LOL . kids will be kids though . Some just naturally want to be social and talk a lot ! ( my daughter )

My LO only gets 1 to 2 pages of hw a day and he only gets 2 15 minute recess breaks.

There are days where he doesn't have an hw because his teacher lets them work on it during class if they have time.
