Well OP, it IS your property, and if your husband doesn't mind buying you a new phone and whatnot, that's not my business. I'd call your provider tomorrow, though, and get a hold on your phone number so that whoever finds your old phone doesn't rack up your bill. And do a lot of research before deciding on your new phone, I'd hate for you to get a new phone and not like it.
