I think she handled it very well. The person who felt the need to write in, is a bully.

i saw this earlier on Yahoo and i cried watching it.
I haven't been tormented about my weight since I was in highschool, but this anchor woman's story brought back some old memories.
She handled this so well and I kind of hope the jerk who wrote it apologizes. he hadno right to say anything about her weight.

I agree with her.

She handled it VERY well. That dude is a complete douche and bully.
And IMO, she isn't even that "fat." And if she is by numbers on a scale, she wears it very well.

The woman handled it well he had no right to say anything about her weight.

I have this image of the bully who wrote the email being a guy in his mid 40's living in his mothers basement, wearing some tight shorts and a ripped white t-shirt,and eating a box of doughnuts while watching the news. Haha

Wow. That's great she handled it so well.

I was looking for a topic on this subject to put this out there. Im sure this news anchor has publicly judged people based on their bad habits and life choices, be it smoking, drinking, doing crack, doesn't she know that they know that already?
I agree this guy was a dumbass for saying what he did, but he also didn't do anything wrong. In a sense I think no one should feel free to comment or judge one another based on their personal life choices, but then again I'm tired of people making obesity the touché subject when there is a lot more.how can people be fine with pointing out the dangers of smoking or over drinking to a smoker or an alcoholic, but judge this guy( who turned out to be extremely athletic himself ) for pointing out the flaws and problems with obesity ?
