Is it normal?

ok so i had my little boy at 36 wks and iv had 2 MC since. the first one my body just rejected and the second they were twins and they told me that there was no heartbeat at 8 wks.Im so scared that I can not carry another child.We want to start trying for another but I am so scared.The doctors said that they wont even run tests until I have had 3 MC.has anyone ever experienced this.? What was your outcome?

I'm not sure if it's normal; however, I had my first son(5/0  at 36w and then I had my second son(08/09) at 40w. I have had two MC since (01/11 - 6w & 01/12 - 8w)
I honestly thought I maybe couldn't have anymore children. I'm now 17w 2d.
I say, hang in there, when the time is right, it will happen. I was super afraid to try again but when I felt okay, I just relaxed and it happened. Good luck! My thoughts are with you. xo

That's what my doc told me. After I had the third miscarriage, they did the testing. Turns out I have MTHFR and other clotting factors. Some studies have correlated MTHFR with recurrent miscarriages. Basically, your body doesn't absorb folic acid the way it's supposed to. It can also predispose you to blood clots. I'm currently taking 1200 mcg of folic acid a day, and next time I get pregnant, I'll have to inject myself with Lovenox (a blood thinner). Most of the time miscarriages are random, but sometimes there is an underlying condition. I wish you the best.

See I wish that the doctors didnt wait to do the tests so atleast i would know what to expect.
