Well today my 5 yr old told me that her friend told her that her mom and dad have sex, she said nu uh their married...

I'm torn if I should explain the basics (like mommy's and daddies sleep in the same bed or sex is how babies are made or only grown ups do it) ugh I'm so lost, Idk if I should leave it alone or talk to her. I thought maybe I had a few more years before sex came up, she's only 5   what would you do

I would. Her friends are already talking to her about it, I'd prefer to give her the correct information and let her know that she can come to you with any question.

Id just explain it as it is..Im sure it will go way over her head and she will forget about it later. But dont sugar coat it or change the story. lol.
