i dont believe in the christian god or satan. i think they exist just not in the way Christians believe.

I thought 23 In Hell was sort of a ripoff to Mary Baxters Divine Revelation of Hell in which both authors claimed to be taken out of the body to be given a tour of Hell and both books strongly suggest only Christian believers get in heaven. My research into near death experience suggests that there is no real place called Hell but a soul can find themselves in a hellish state but is related to negative thoughts or beliefs. Universally regardless of creed or none people report being embraced by the light and feel completely loved and accepted without conditions

i believe in God, but i don't think i believe that He can even be offended. i feel like He just loves everybody and is hoping that non-believers will, like "come around" i guess. if they do, i'm sure He's happy or whatever, but if they don't, they don't. so, idk. i guess my main point is that i don't think He takes offense.

My only thing is those Christians who love to shout "God hates fags" or "God hates soldiers". Or those snotty ones who feel they cant watch Army Wives because it has a gay couple. I cant stand those who think "You had a child out of wedlock. Thaat child is an abomination!"
I am Non-donominational Christian. That means that I believe God loves everyone equally and that it is not my place to judge.
I think God is real, but I dont think he "hates" as much as most Christians like to think he does.
I dont judge those who dont believe. My only goal in life is to live a godly life and get to heaven. I sin. I am not perfect. I try...that is all I can do.

I believe on the soul level we already know God but the conscious mind cannot perceive beyond this physical reality

God doesn't hate anyone.

It could seem that way, I guess, but I don't think so. I believe He knows what He's doing.

I personally don't think it offends God if someone doesn't believe in him. Everyone dies, so I think he knows that at some point everyone will know he exists. I am not Christian and I believe everyone gets into Heaven no matter what. Personally I think the Christian's version of God is mean, cruel, and sadistic. How can God love us more than we love our own children and still send us non-believers to Hell? That doesn't sound like love to me.

People generally associate the Christian God as the Father. There is nothing wrong with that.

i'm going to put in my 2 cents, even though this wasn't directed at me, lol.... but, from my own experience with religion (grew up roman catholic), we just always are taught that He's a he. it's not really like anyone knows for sure, but it's just one of those things they decided on and it just seemed like a good idea having Him and Mary as the mom and whatnot, you know? i think even though we believe He is not necessarily physical, it is somewhat easier for people to put a gender to Him when they're doing all their religious stuff. is this making sense? still, idk if all catholics really have this view on Him possibly not being a him, or if all just totally assume to see a big ol' white bearded dude when they get to heaven...

as much as I believe in God, I still question the Bible.
The only parts of it I follow are:
10 commandments
dont tattoo your body
be modest
no sex out of wedlock (I broke this one a number of times)

The rest...I question because the Bible has been passed on from centuries. The stories have changed, the variations have changed. I dont understand any of what the King James Version says. I wonder how anyone else could translate that and come up with the NIV? How do they know how to translate KJV word for word? You see...it's been changed too much

Those are good books. Have you read or heard of The Divine Revelation of Hell? I liked that one too.
I think it hurts Him more than it offends.
