hi everyone, my name is sara im 17 years old and im 26 weeks pregnant. i have a lot of support from my family but no friends! im scared out of my mind! i dont know what to expect, wether ill be strong enough, if its gonna hurt a lot, and wether or not ill be a good mom to my son! my boyfriend is still in the picture and he helps alot! i freak out constantly when i feel something that doesnt seem right or normal! can anyone give me advice?

I'm 22, and I was freaking out all the time when something didn't feel/seem right. I think that's pretty normal with your first, no matter what age. Pregnancy is strange and different, and things that don't seem right are pretty normal and common. Good luck mama.

I was 15 when i got pregnant with my son and 16 when i had him. Its been hard but it can be done. Just try to relax as much as possible during labor, it makes it a lot easier! Of course its going to hurt but just remember theres always the option to get the epidural. When he gets here your mommy instincts will kick in, im sure you will be a good mommy to him.   Congrats and good luck!

Do you have any teen mom support groups in your area my sister used to go to a group called taps for teen parents look it up see if they have any meetings in your area

I'm 21, and was 19 when I got preg with my first. I was the same way, I think we all are the first time. I lost alot of my friends when I got pregnant, because it is hard to relate to eachother. It sucks, but then you will meet new friends who do know what it is like, so it gets better. As for being a good mom, as long as you love your baby, and do you best you will be fine. Good luck hun  

stay as calm as you can and breath. labor will hurt but your body is made for it. If you have family and a boyfriend helping you out thats great im so happy for you... ill be your friend you and pm me ill talk to you and be your friend but when your pregnant and a mommy is when you will find the friends that will be there for you...when i was pregnant i lost almost all my friends i have only a few friends left from before i was pregnant unless we where pregnant at the same time

Friends are nice, but not a necessity, really. I barely have friends and am 25 haha

Besides, when you'll bring that little boy to the park, you'll meet other mamas and can make friends that way!

Yeah most of my friends stopped talking to me when i couldn't go out every night with them. As for loving my baby, i already love him so much im excited yet nervous to have him.

Well BG is a good place to make friends untill you can find some friends who can relate to you in your area lol. Really even with my friends I have now who have kids it is hard. Everyone is so busy with their own lives. And that sounds like your off to a good start to me

lucky for me everyone has been really supportive. I just start to feel left out when my boyfriend hangs out with his guy friends because all they do is smoke weed and sice i dont do that im alone for at least a whole afternoon while he goes out.

awww well thats sucky... i can understand where your coming from with that but its good for him to have boy time maybe when that happens you can go out and pamper yourself
