When to take BACK to the docs

Cora has had a cough for a little over a week. No fever (she feels a bit warm but temps have been under 100). No runny nose. Jusr a cough

I took her to the docs saturday morning and they said either allergies or virus.

It's tuesday now and her cough is different. It used to be dry and now it is a bit more "productive" (though she isn't coughing anything up)

When would you take a kid BACK to the docs? She is 4 years old BTW

It's more than likely allergies. I'd give her the allergy meds. (12 hours normally?) Run the humidifier all day long even while not sleeping.

She has been in Claritin for 6 days and nothing. It isn't working at all. Should i try a different brand of 24 hour allergy med?

Also, benedryl didn't seem to help either.

And neither did delsym

(all were okay'd by the doc to give at the same time)

Claritin never worked for Riss. She takes allegra ODT.

eh not for that. it takes a lot for me to go to the doctor though.

it usually does for me too . I never rush to the docs for anything. But Cora is just so rarely sick and never for this long
