I'm kinda heart broken.

I had my heart set on Aurora..I LOVE the name and I love the nick name Ari for it..


DH hates the name..he says he doesn't want a baby named after a disney princess and that just breaks my heart...I love the name because or the Aurora Borealis, it's such a beautiful, natural thing and I thought it would be very symbolic as a name..to have a daughter with such a beautiful name...but nope, he doesn't like it and I'm sure a lot of you know how that goes...and I honestly can't think of any other name that I like...I'm just hoping in the next 6 months I can convince DH to change his mind!

Sorry, that's gotta be frustrating! I think it's funny that my DH didn't even realize Aurora was a Disney princess! I had to google it to prove it to him lol.. No idea why we were talking about it maybe middle names???

What about Arianna? And i didnt know Aurora was a princess. Is it sleeping beauty, bc thats the only name i dont know. Ive always just said sleeping beauty lol

And I wouldn't worry about it. You don't even know if the baby is even a girl. I LOVE Aurora though. It is on my list.

I didn't like the name DH picked out for DS but I got used to it. Maybe it will be a boy and you won't have to worry about it!

yeah, it's Sleeping Beauty, Briar Rose was the name that the 3 fairies gave her and Aurora was the name her parents gave her..

DH likes the name Aleda (Ah-Lay-Dah) I'm not liking it

and its just for the fact that we do have a 50/50 chance of having a girl so I'd love to just have names picked out especially when we announce the gender..and I really just want that name...

This is Annora / Honora, which sound very similar to Aurora. There is also Aurelia.

I LOVE Annora!!! (Uh-nora ???) I love Aurora also, no clue it was a princess, I have a Girasol woven wrap (baby carrier) and the 'colorway' is Aurora. It is beautiful!!!

I like Aurora too but BOTH you and DH have to love it, or at least like it. If he had his "heart set" on a name you really didn't like then he would have to get over it, and so do you.

I fully understand that and thats why I'm heartbroken..he doesn't have a name he's set on nor does he have one that he loves completely..
