This is what you do... Put a thick generous amount of valesine (petroleum jelly) on your heels at night, rub them and then put socks on. The petroleum jelly will moisturize overnight and in the morning you will notice a difference!

Yes!! The cosmetology school uses paraffin wax for their manicures and pedicures at half the price. My hands and feet always feel so damn smooth, I just rub them together..LOL

Half the price???   ughh it's so pricey when you try getting it done at a nail salon plus with pedi, mani, and eyebrow so I just do classics now. Maybe I should try looking for a cosmetology school lol

Yep. They let certain students that have passed certain tests do hair, nails, facials, everything...For SUCH cheap prices. The students do it for credit hours or something...And the money goes to the school, I think. A manicure is normally $12-$15 anywhere else...But there, it's like $4. But you can only go on Friday or Monday, so you have to make sure you call a week or so ahead...

I usually don't do mani's because it doesn't last I only do pedis and I don't like designs so I'm okay with just paint. Do you know any school names? maybe I can find one here in Houston.. idk about the eyebrows because I'm picky about that lol unless they're really good at cleaning them.

I just googled cosmetology schools in Houston. A bunch came up! I'm sure one is BOUND to offer services. The one here is called Arthur's Beauty School.

Haha! Thanks. In the 5 years we've been together I've tried convincing him to get a pedicure with me, but he refuses. He's too embarrassed. Finally I came home with an off brand pedi egg kit and told him to shut his mouth, and accept what was about to happen.

I really want to give him a pedi and just get over my phobia but every time I start I run away.

Gloves! My husband had it because of wearing his boots constantly on the ship (Navy). He had it when we met and swore it wasn't anything. No, no, my dear...you have athletes foot, lol.

I am a complete weirdo, though. I enjoy popping pimples and using those pore strips on my husband. It's like I feel super accomplished when I battle gross stuff, lol. My husband is 6'2", 210, has a grizzly beard, and is just a total manly man so it's really funny to see him in the process of getting "dolled up" as he calls it.

We've tried everything and those mini mushrooms keep coming back!! UGHHH lol he thinks they're no big deal but they are... they really are and it looks sooo bad. Do you know what's best for combating them?? I'm thinking of giving him a pedi once the severity of it goes down.

Actually that tea tree oil and ACV soak is what has works for DH and he also wears flip flips or crocs when he's home. DH has tried a lot of store bought crap, but nothing worked until I started having him soak his feet. He usually does one soak a week while we're watching a movie after LO goes down for bed.

Really??? that's great how much would I put in a tub of water for a soak and is it possible to combine those two ingredients with another soak like a spa soak?
