Yes, that stuff was wonderful.

I also found a lot of comfort from those tucks pads. I used those things constantly.

that stuff saved my life with my first baby/stitches, so I got 2 cans of it this time for baby #2. hurt like HELL to use it! I don't know what was different.

I've never heard of this.

I used the witch hazel pads they gave me religiously.

I only had 3 stitches and I didn't have any pain. I was moving around as normal a few hours after delivery. They did give me numbing spray that I didn't use, but I've heard it works well.

Congrats on that cute baby! I'm jealous! lol

With Aurora, I had an episiotomy and a 3rd degree tear. I had the bad pain for pretty much the whole 6 weeks. I still have soreness from it today. Certain sex positions, sitting Indian Style, etc. I used Dermoplast after delivery with her, and it helped.

Yeah, numbing spray is awesome. I had a container in the diaper bag as well as one in the bathroom at home.

OP- I felt sore for the whole 6 weeks. At my 6 week PP visit, the midwives told me I should have came in A LOT sooner. My stitches hadn't dissolved AND I was infected and had a severe allergic reaction to the stitches they used. They ended up numbing me AGAIN with those stupid needles and then had to remove the stitches.

If you don't begin feeling better at about 2-3 weeks PP, go see the midwife and have her take a quick look. I wish I'd had done that...

I had enough stitches he wouldn't tell me how many...but I also had some healing issues. My NP told me I wasn't healed up at my 6 week check, and it seriously took 13 weeks to be able to sit straight again.

I tore up the side, not down. I dont remember how many stitches I got but I remember it was SOOO painful every time I sat down, and I couldnt even ride in the car because every bump was excruciating. It took a few weeks but eventually the pain went away!

So is it just the stitches or the whole area? I only had 2 stitches with C but I was in pain until 6-8 weeks later..

Just the stitches, they feel like they are pulling more than they were before. My mw's want to check me out today.

!

I could feel that I was so swollen once I got home. I really thought I was taking it easy like they said, but once I started thinking about it, I did a lot more than was smart.

Forever and ever and then I found out I had an infection at 6 weeks pp and then at 6 months they said I had granulation scar tissue and I had to get it cauterized or however you spell it, twice. Then it was all better.

So that's two things you could ask about.
