Charlotte in 4D

I had my glucose/iron test and routine ultrasound this morning so we decided to go ahead and get a 4d ultrasound done as well. Everything is going great! All of her organs and functioning perfectly normal and her heart beat was great. She looks very similar to her big brother except the ultrasound tech says she has a lot of hair! Chunk was bald until he was almost 2. But they have a lot of similar features. She definitely has my forehead (more like 5head lol) and maybe my nose but definitely her daddy's mouth, just like Chunk. She now weighs a little under 3 pounds, has chubby little cheeks and was smiling the whole time! I'm in love already.

cute! lol. i had a 3D done at about 21 weeks and they turned out good but he is still all done because he hasn't gotten any fat yet

I am so jealous! fritz wouldn't cooperate for a 4D and I had 2 appointments where they tried.

Yeah, we tried to wait until she got a little fat on her before we got the 4d done. Totally worth the wait, the pictures turned out really well!

Awww, stubborn feller! JoJo was the same way. We had to go back to get his done because he wouldn't cooperate. And even when we went back we didn't get good pictures like we did this time around. She had her hand in her face most of the time but luckily she moved it long enough to get a few good pictures! And we got a video of her smiling up a storm, just not sure how to upload it on here.

I know right? I swear she looks just like him!!! I can't wait until she gets here. The pictures say 28 weeks 4 days but I'm actually 29 weeks 2 days. I almost chose to get the 4d done a month ago and I don't think the pictures would have come out as good as they did today. I think the best time to get it is probably between 26 and 32 weeks along, that way they've already got some baby fat on them!
When's your DD btw? I'm so excited for you! Wonder if you're going to have another 11 pounder?? lol.

Man, when we had our 3d/4d with Mal at 27 weeks the tech said she had absolutely zero hair on her head lol!

Lol well I'm fully stocked on headbands because I just had a feeling to begin with I'd have a bald daughter. I mean Landon came out with wild monkey hair so it only makes sense that my daughter is bald right?? LOL!

LOL me too!!!! I haven't bought a single bow because I was so sure she was going to be bald. Seriously, it was such a shocker when she showed us all the hair on the ultrasound. We couldn't see it on the 4d but when we were doing the routine ultrasound she pointed out a bunch of white little lines on the top of her head and said it was her hair. I was like "whaaaaaat???" haha I was for sure I was going to have another baldy like JoJo.

Well they turned out great!! Can't wait to see her! Post pics of your nursery when your done, I love your color schemes!!

The doctor says I am due May 18th my first ultrasound will be Nov 9th ;)
I really hope this baby won't be as big! But I am sooo hungry for this pregnancy and if I don't eat every 2 hrs I throw up... I've already gained 4lbs already! and im only 7 weeks. I really don't want to gain as much as last time. I had pre eclampsia so my doctor will hound me for it this time around! But it's hard!

I know what you mean! I was so scared I'd get as big as I did last time. I haven't had any issues with eating this pregnancy, no morning sickness or anything like that, and I typically eat a small meal every few hours. I've gained 25 pounds so far and I know I'll probably gain more. But luckily it wasn't 100 pounds gained like last time so whatever, I'll take it! Lol. I hope you don't have issues with pre e this time!

And thanks!! We're *almost* done with her nursery.. just have to find a rug and some other small things but other than that it's just about done! I'll post pictures soon. Can't wait to see your ultrasound pictures!!
