Hey ladies.
Just need some good luck for tomorrow. Tomorrow is my Godson's adoption finalization.
We have been trying to keep things hush-hush so the birth mother and her crazy family will not find out and show up. She has been causing some problems lately and we are afraid of what might happen.
A while back she told everyone that Sammy was in the hospital and really sick and that the adoptive parents backed out of the adoption. She was collecting money from people so she could go get him! We only found out because her SIL (who has custody of her other 2 boys) contacted DCFS when she heard about it (because she is trying to fight to get custody of Sammy). DCFS called my friends mom (Sammy's mom) and got it all sorted out but it was so upsetting.
(She also recently pulled this with one of her older sons. Only she was telling everyone he had a heart attack and passed away. UGGGH makes me so sick...)
We are also afraid the SIL might show up and try to interfear. I remember Sammy's brother's (I call him LB because I cant post his name online) adoption was finalized. We showed up to the courthouse and his sperm donor was there. He walked right up to my husband and said "Good luck." and walked out. It was a long couple hours waiting and worrying if he was being sincere or being a cocky jerk.
Thankfully he was there to sign over his rights and everything went fine.
I am a nervous wreck. I cant stand the thought of losing Sammy. I just want the day to be over.
Even though we are not blood related this is my family. He will forever be my little brother and a true blessing from above.
