Did you not get that they don't have a relationship? We live in FL, they live in NY. My son barely knows her, she is not family to him. My BD's other son called me Titi (aunt) and was VERY attached to me, we still didn't include him in our family pics...BD should know better.

I think what everyone is trying to say is that you are going to have your family and your BD is going to have his.... You don't have to (by the court) send your LO to BD, but if you do, then you have to let him have his family.

Whether you like it or not, that is the woman that plays mommy to him when he visits. Taking a family picture or not isnt going to change that. You should be happy she is so accepting of him, even though you wouldnt the other way around.

And what I am trying to say is that, if he wants to spend time with his son, he needs to respect my wishes. I don't tell him where to go or ask him what he is doing with him and I think that is all the freedom he needs. I also wanted to me the girl before my son met her but he never made it happen and I just let it go. I respect his wishes too, I let him know about all the extra curricular activities that I put DS in and if he doesn't like it, he won't do it. I don't have to do all that, he needs to appreciate it or take me to court and start paying child support, it's that simple.

I don't think you have read everything I said, his other son is not hers and he wasn't in the pics because his other BM didn't want him to be in them.

I am sorry but I have to agree with the others I know I am late but um yeah its just pictures,me and my SO aren't married and if we decide to take pictures with his kids its our house our rules. It sounds like he wants her to be in his life whether they have been together 6 months or a year.

This, right? Seriously, it's a smurfing picture. Im sorry but I think it's asinine to only want to allow pictures if they are married or have a kid. Seriously... asinine as smurf.

Girl i.feel you i wish my bd would.hve some family pics with his gf and my kids ha hell na...idk what i would do how i would handle that.
