It's been a while for me. I remember Marks Apple a Day or something (search it and I'm sure you'll find it) was pretty good! Doing this diet was how I realized I have a gluten intolerance also, and it's amazing how many people have milk or gluten intolerance and don't even know!
There are a few books on it too, but you can find 99% of the information online. There are even a few websites done by like Mom's, so they include kid friendly paleo recipes. Some people still consume dairy on it though, so some recipes might include dairy. Personally I think almond milk or coconut milk substitute REALLY well for most stuff!
We aren't paleo anymore but I have cut out most of the grains because we've realized how much better we feel without them. And my kids have never been milk drinkers, though they still have some dairy, not nearly as much.
