I got pregnant three months after I interrupted my pregnancy with my first son.

I had some pregnancy complications but nothing due to the prior surgery.

My sister terminated her pregnancy one month and found out she was pregnant again the next. Everyone was pretty pissed on why she would spend the money to do that, then get pregnant again right away. Today my niece is 1, beautiful as ever,and im glad she has no problems and my sister had no complications.

and what changed your mind?

im only asking because i had an abortion a month ago, and ive been having alot of feelings that i want to be pregnant again..just wanting some info from mamas how have gone through it

did it take a long time for your family to get over?

Not really. We didn't want her to do it the 1st time but it was her decision that mattered and we had to stand by her. When she told us she was pregnant that next month we were just really shocked, didn't understand and we were worried. As soon as she got her 1st ultrasound though, we just forgot about it and was happy for her and happy that she was going to go through with the pregnancy. She got pregnant by the same guy from the 1st time and according to them, they weren't TTC which i do believe because he left her after she told him she was keeping her.

I interrupted my pregnancy because my son had a fatal birth defect and would not have survived.

Getting pregnant again scared the hell out of my family (because they were scared it would happen again) but everyone was supportive.

I found out I was pregnant in Dec 2011 and my boyfriend and I had made the decision to terminate the pregnancy. We had decided this only on the fact that we had just moved in together and we were struggling as it is and to just be down right honest, we were scared to death.

I had to wait until I was 5 wks pregnant to go forward with the procedure and took the pill rather than having a d&c. Although it was not painful at all, I bled so much and for almost 3 months straight that I didn't know if I could ever go through that again. I had promised myself that I would never allow myself to go through something like that and that I had this one opportunity to shape up and if I were ever to get pregnant again that we wouldn't make the same decision.

Well... in June I found I was pregnant again. I was petrified and the boyfriend and I had a very hard time even speaking to one another. I was actually on birth control so having to be pregnant again was a major shock. I am now 22 wks along and we're ecstatic. No one else knows about our abortion. It has been a secret of ours. I am glad that he respected my wishes from last time. I had told him that I would never be able to go through anything like that again. Especially because we have always talked about children. We've been together 7 years.

Mine wasn't so soon after. But almost exactly a year later. It wasn't the same guy and now I have my 4 year old. If I had had the baby that I aborted I wouldn't have her. Its crazy to think about.

I did swear that I would never do it again (an abortion) and so I told me bf that and he agreed to keep the baby. This time around I told the guy the same thing - there is just no way I could have another.
