Nuvaring Birth Control

I have been on the Nuvaring for 4 months now and this past month I started bleeding almost a full week before taking the ring out... has anyone else had issues with breakthrough bleeding on Nuvaring? I am considering changing birth control now because I do not want to be having periods that are nearly two weeks! Anyone have any suggestions for a good method of birth control?

Did they say how long it could take to regulate? I was on nuvaring for two years and have nothing but great things to say about it! But they're all different for everyone.

They didn't say... the first four months were great, no issues at all! Then when I started to bleed early I called my OB and the nurse just said to leave it in until it is time to remove it, and that it wasn't a big deal, I was just having some breakthrough bleeding for some reason. I am hoping this doesn't happen again. I even suspected pregnancy, since I always have implantation bleeding, but all the HPT's are negative, Thank God! So I am maybe thinking it could have something to do with some new meds I am on for migraines. My neurologist has been trying a lot of new meds and the bleeding started the day after I started this steroids he put me on, so I am hoping maybe that interferes with the Nuvaring or something.
