Sooooo.

Okay, I don't check SO's things. Unless of course he asks me to get into his email or whatever. I do know all of his passwords, though.

Well. When I got on the computer, I had to sign into FB. I went ahead and clicked log in (because we have our passwords saved on here). I didn't realize it was SO's email logged in. But, usually whatever... I just log back out on go onto mine. Well, it said the password was incorrect. Okay.... no biggie. Maybe FB said his account was compromised and he had to change it. Okay!

So I signed up for the e-bill for our electric. I used his email since the account is under his name. Well, I went to sign into his email to check the confirmation email and that password was also changed............

Would red flags start going up? Our anniversary IS next weekend, so he could be planning something and not wanting me to see it. And although I do love him with all of my heart, I don't think he has the sense to change his passwords to hide something 'big'  

That's weird he'd change his pw to his facebook and his email. Idk if i'd be worried or not. Has he ever given you a reason not to trust him? If he were planning something for your anniversary, do you think he'd hide it through fb and email?

I freaked when SO changed his password... I don't snoop or anything but I will use his account or his FB for something... He gave me his password when we first started living together... I have always trusted him and still do.

He changed it out of the blue. Turns out he put his late mother's name down basically as his password (not her name literally, hackers ;)) in honor of her.

It worries you, but it's probably nothing.

I really don't know how to answer this. I would feel a little unsettled maybe...but it's not exactly something you can bring up without it looking sketch. Haha. "Hey babe, why did you change the passwords to your Facebook and email??"

He could very well be planning something special for you, though. I don't know.

Maybe he just suddenly felt self-conscious of the privacy factors here? I know some people would be really uncomfortable with SOs having their passwords even if they have absolutely nothing to hide.

If he isn't showing any other signs of being shady, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hmm maybe.I would look more into it.Ask him,or just wait if something else happends.

He has given me reason to not trust him in the beginning of our relationship. But, none of that is a factor now (I can say that with all of my heart). But no, he hasn't given me a reason to not trust him.


I dunno if he could be planning something. He doesn't really do things online. He calls before doing anything online (like reservations, making plans with people, etc). So I really don't know. I am gonna ask him when he gets home. But that's 3 hours away. Sigh

Yep. He has the same password for everything. Because of that, anytime I have to make an account for us (like the electric e-bill thing) I still use the same password because we both know it.

I would tell him that you signed up for online billing with his email and wasn't able to confirm it because the password was changed. See if he says anything.

yea if it was just FB I'd get it. but both is kind of odd

this is what pops into my head:
he changed his FB and Email password because he is hidding something.
(since FB sends stuff to your email)
he got hacked.
or he just wanted to change the passwords.

But make sure you ask him.
Just be up front. Like hey i noticed that you changed your FB and Email passwords.

Ugh like I want to ask, and I probably will ask because I can't let something like this go   But what if he is planning something? I'll ruin it

That's how my husband is. He likes to be sneaky and keep stuff from me and I always ruin it.   But you said that he doesn't do stuff online so if he's not much of a facebooker then why does he need to change his pw? I hope he's not hiding anything. I'd just ask him. I couldn't let something like this go neither. It'd be in the back of my mind, lol.
