I wondered where they learned the lingo because it seemed like they were pretty familiar with it all.
And things they said, made it seem like they long ago formed opinions about things in the outside world rather than exploring it for the first time? If that makes sense?

You guys do know when a show is filmed, it can take months to a year for them to air the show. That baby is little, so maybe they had the baby after filming?

They said the show was filmed this year...and the picture is from 2011.

Oh god...to try and make it look like they conceived the baby on the show. Well that won't work out too well! Like you said, she has her real teeth in the picture AND it was filmed THIS SUMMER. When they're in Times Square, there is an add for the movie "Brave" which came out recently.

TLC said they never said they were leaving the Amish community for the first time. They admit they "broke Amish" before the show. TLC said they were breaking away from their faith for the first time. By the end of the show, they will decide if they want to go home or start a new life.

Man, this is so disappointing!   Lol I hope it doesn't ruin the show for me because I love it! Anyways, Abe was arrested in 2008 for alcohol intoxication in a public place when he was 18! Here's his mugshot!

I saw that too. And yeah, it's really disappointing  
I still watch it though..but it definitely does change the way I view the show. Like I roll my eyes a lot when watching haha.
One of Kate's friends wrote that her story is the most "real"...but still fake.

Jeremiah's real brother (Jeremiah was adopted by an Amish family) found him back in 2004. He "broke amish" back then....not last year. The show is worked.

I don't understand why people are freaking out about it being fake, TLC is all fake and entertainment. I miss the good old days of gory medical shows.
