All loved ones and family are welcome, with permission. No age limit. As a matter of fact, the older they are, the more stories they have. I'd love to hear about their triumphs and achievements!

This is my FAVORITE cousin, Shanti. She's 26, LOVES LOVES LOVES Justin Beibs, anything on the disney channel, playing basketball, soccer, and swimming in the Special Olympics (she does ALL sports, but those are her favorites). Whenever we talk on the phone, the first and last things she tells me is "Rachel, I love you SOOOOO much! I love my cousins! I MISS you so so much!"
She had heart surgery when she was an infant-I don't know hardly anything on that..never really asked I guess..but hasn't had any other complications since then.   She's SO full of energy, ALWAYS positive (except when she misses Camp Rock on the Disney channel bahah)...She is 150% OBSESSED with katchup...she eats !!!!everything!!!! with katchup. Hahah and she is THE BEST damn dancer I know. She LOVES dancing whenever she can, and will challenge you to a dance off and brutally show you up!  
She is HANDS DOWN the most compassionate, loving, caring, outgoing, flat out HAPPIEST human being I know, and probably ever will. She NEVER looks at the negatives (again, unless she misses her disney shows...don't you dare keep her from watching her shows, or she'll let you know whats up!) and strives to make everyday THE best day she'll ever have. If she notices you're upset, sad, or just unhappy about something...it becomes her mission to make you smile and laugh and forget why you're feeling that way in the first place. I love her with all my heart, and I'm SO GLAD she's in my life, even better, we're blood! Family. And that means more to me than she'll ever know. She's such a huge inspiration for me, and I look up to her. She makes me want to be a better person. She now lives about 4 hours from me, and it's upsetting to us both. I love my Shanti. And she "LOVES her cousins!" Lol.

Shanti won GOLD and silver in swimming at state for the Special Olympics! Woohoo!
And bronze metal at another state compitition! This one I was able to attend being that they held them so close to my town...SOO much fun watching her having a BLAST with her teammates! She absolutely LOVES competing! She was so so proud of herself and friends.

Going the the Sweetheart dance with her best friend, Natalee. Like I mentioned before, she LOVES to dance! She does a pretty mean "twist"...If you were to tell her "Shanti, show me how to do the twist!" I swear she'd twist so hard she'd twist herself into a knot! Lol So much fun dancing with her!

This was at state when she won the bronze, the one I was able to attend. (As you can see..but not really lol, I'm hiding behind those signs I made for her) And I'm SO GLAD I did!!! When I arrived, her team had already started playing basketball on the court..When she looked up to her family, she saw the signs I was holding up, STOPPED right in her tracks in the middle of the court and smiled SO HUGE!!!!! She just stood there and stared and smiled and waved like a crazy person! Lol...that is definitely one of the top happiest faces I've EVER seen her make...and knowing I did that to her...I made her react that way.....it really brings a tear to my eye. I love her so much!!!

Sorry this ended up being so damn long. I miss her so much...and this makes me miss her so much more.. I haven't seen her since last winter when we all met at the Olympics above. Miss her every day and this was awesome for me to share the love I have for her with you guys! Lol

This made me cry. She's beautiful, inside and out. You're so lucky to have her as a cousin. I'm envious!

This is my cousin, Chad. He's 4.5 years younger than me and is more like a brother to me. He is 26 now.

This is my beautiful 13 year old niece Alexis. She was diagnosed with Mosaic Down Syndrome as an infant but she continues to be the very first light of my life. For being so young she has gone through more than any adult I know but she has become a strong and beautiful young lady. I love this child as if she were my own.

Keep em coming! I will leave this open for a few more days... will probably close this weekend. So hopefully we can get a few more! The more, the better!

This is my cousin Jay with his parents. he'll be 23 in January. He has made great strides! he had open heart surgery around 6-9 months. when he was little, his dad was a bit abusive so Jay became mean. he had a rather nasty temper. when he got to HS, the teacher they had for the special ed class, worked with him. i'm happy to say he is now the sweetest, most well liked guy. The night this picture was taken, they had given us orders at the beginning of the ceremony (he graduated with DH and i but continues to go to school), to save our applause till everyone had their diplomas. well, to hell with them! haha. as soon as they called Jay's name, the entire graduating class stood and cheered, the crowd followed in the standing ovation. he always gave everyone hugs and was always laughing and in a good mood. When we were little, he idolized my brother, but now, he is my best buddy. as soon as he sees me he has to have a hug (and sometimes kisses my cheek.  ) he's just such a sweetheart and i'm so proud of him!
