What to expect at court

I have a court date tomorrow to modify the child support. My income is less, and his is more. According to the calculator online, he should be paying me nearly double what I am getting now. I have no idea if BD checked his mail box, so I have no idea if he will show... what should I expect. I am very, very nervous.

From what I've heard, if the fathers income goes up he pays more. What a shame. But, that's most likely what will happen, yes.

It should go up. If he doesn't show they will either take it as no contest or reschedule

The responsibility is on him to provide his paystubs. I estimated what he is making from what he last told me. It could be more or less... I HOPE he shows up because I am sick and tired of him telling me I'm "stealing his money". If he is irresponsible with his money, that's his problem. But is he REALLY is having a hardship, then that would be the time to tell the judge. I also hope that IF he shows, the judge can explain to him that I am not some evil bitch, and that he is obligated to support his child.

Honestly, it's nothing unheard of. Men will go so far as to quit working at places that can be checked easily to be heartless asses.

Oh yes... and this smurf's longest track record was about 6 months at a job. But this one he won't quit... HOPEFULLY he won't get fired... because if he does, he'll lose the only thing going for him, and that's his "bachelor pad" and ability to afford to get laid. lol
