I'd be upset, but not at my SO, more at the situation that my LO was hurt. It was an accident. I'm sure you didnt sit there and watch him get burned.

if it would have happened to my husband id be furious. i would probably stay really mad for a few days until i see DDs hand heal.
but in our case its because DH ALWAYS gets distracted or does stupid things with DD forgetting she is too little for the things he wants to do with her so she ALWAYS gets hurt on his watch. she has fallen down the stone stairs in our house because he left the door open and left her in the hallway alone when she was 11 months old, just because he remembered some stupid story he wanted to tell me. she could have died from that fall or gotten seriously injured.

I wouldnt be mad at all. Stuff happens to the best of us. You cant follow them around all the time. Kids are fast and come out of nowhere and touch stuff.

I remember when my oldest now 10, was 2 yrs old and I was cooking bacon, and she was in her room watching tv. I turned around to get the bread out of the bread box and heard a scream, I was still standing in the same spot. (I was just turned around) she stuck her fingers over the edge of the frying pan and dipped all 4 finger tips in grease. and burned them badly along with her fingers from grabbing the edge of the pan.

3 seconds before that happened she was in her room (cause I could see her. Smurf happens and its no ones fault when its clearly an accident, I would be mad at my SO if they were mad at me, they would get a punch to the ball sack.

Honestly I dont remember, the paramedics came and bandaged her up, we didnt have to go in to the hospital. They took pics and sent it in to the Dr and the Dr said she didnt need to come in. I think it was only 2nd degree burns. It was so long ago. lol

But I remember how it happened and how quick it was like it was yesterday. lol
She has no scarring what-so-ever tho.

thank god yes. she didnt even have a bruise. she was just shocked from the fall so she cried a little. but i was furious. especially because it took him a few more days to get into his head to keep that door closed. i would have a scream fest every time i caught him leaving the door open with DD in the diningroom (which is the room leading to the hallway/stairs).
he just doesnt think through. drives me nuts.

lol I'm sitting here thinking, "if anything ever happens with Eric watching baby, he's a dead man." but I don't plan on leaving baby with Eric alone like, ever. haha
but mainly because he has a LOT of responsibility capabilities to prove.
I know you're an awesome momma, so I couldn't be mad at you. Noah's in your care everyday and he's only been hurt like this once! Angel will get over it, and I'm positive he sees what a good mom you are regardless of this situation.

It's been almost 4 months since my husband left our son alone on the bed and he fell off and landed right on the back of his head on the floor (it's carpeted). He went to go to the bathroom and didn't tell me, all the sudden I hear a thud and screaming. I was so pissed and I still am. That could've been prevented if 2 things happened, 1. he told me so I could go in and watch the baby, 2. he put him in his crib like I said to in the beginning. Your SO has a right to be mad, just deal with it, the baby got hurt, let him feel anger. Just don't ever do it again, put him in the sling no matter what.

Thanks lady :]...I know I don't ever do stupid smurf like open the oven when he is not in his sling.

From now on he is going in his pack and play when I open that damned oven....I was all nervous to cook today..even tho he was asleep in our room
