I had a breakdown at work tonight. It's just so stressful all the time. We never get a break. I want to quit. I want to go back to waiting tables again. I don't want to do this anymore...  

I just put my two week notice in at work. I couldn't deal with my job any more either Stef. X.x

Really? I wish I could quit, but I carry our insurance. My DH is still insured through his dad. I wish he could insure us so I could find something else.

Could you apply for another job and get financial aid in the meantime?   This stress is SO bad for you

I work part time at tjmaxx since September. I get no benefits and $7.35 an hour. Not worth the hassle of finding a babysitter. My mil used to do it when we lived with her but we live on the opposite side of the city now. Plus they keep jacking me around, like the other day they made me miss my break then wouldn't let me have one and didn't let me leave on time. I was on register and really needed to potty as well as get a drink and a snack. I was feeling awful when I finally got fussed at because I was late to clock out although they didn't relieve me. -.-

Can you get state insurance if you quit?

Cool. I'd love a dog but Maddy is rough on animals so it has to wait til she's older.

I doubt it. They'll look at how much I'm making and deny me. I wish I could transfer in the hospital network, but my boss would have to approve it and I doubt she would, since a bunch of nurses just quit. I guess I'll just stick it out. I don't have much of an option.

Oh, I know. I dread going into work and I feel like crying every day. I finally broke down this evening. I feel like a failure. This is the second nursing job I've had this year,and I don't know ifI want to stick with it.

Stef: I mean quit your job and get state insurance. I'm sorry your boss won't approve it... Is there someone higher up to talk to, maybe get a doctors note for light duty?

The nurse practitioner already put me on light duty, but my unit won't accept it, because we do total patient care. I could quit and get on state insurance, but I'd feel so guilty.

Stef: I feel guilty to but oh well how I feel since my baby is more important. It sounds like they are a bunch of smurfs anyway. *hug*
