It seems my evening pee is more concentrated. I didn't realize hCG fluctuated or else I wouldn't have fretted before. Now I know, now I feel a bit better.

This is today's test. The line looks a little darker, I think. I hope that's a good sign! My OB's office opens in an hour and 15 minutes, so I will be calling them then.


ETA: Apparently they don't open until 8:30, an there are 19 callers ahead of me! Ugh! I'll be on hold forever!

Okay, I just got off the phone with my OB's nurse. They want me to come in to have my HCG, progesterone and PT/INR (clotting times) drawn, which is fine, but apparently they won't start treatment until AFTER the second set of my results come back! WTF?! I told her I don't feel comfortable waiting that long, because Thursday is Thanksgiving, so I won't get my results back until NEXT Monday! Smurf! She said, "well, that's just how we do things." I understand protocol. Believe me, I do, but time is critical. I talked her into calling in some suppositories for me, but they won't prescribe the shots. Ugh, I'm so frustrated! I'm terrified of having another loss, and they don't seem to care and there's NOTHING I can do about it.

You have to demand that smurf.. That is so frustrating.. Look at what P Pickle Pants went through, she went through hell just to get seen and to get her levels drawn. I would demand that they do something more and you emotionally can't afford another loss and this time it will be b/c of them

That's what I told them! I said if there's ANYTHING I can do to prevent it, I will try it. I don't care if it's necessary or not! It's for my peace of mind! WHY can't they understand that?! I did talk her into the suppositories, so I'm going to get my blood drawn then I'll pick those up. She was like, "your levels may be fine and you might not need them." I told her that my levels started off fine last time (at 20), then dropped to 6 within a matter of days." Since they weren't monitoring me CLOSE enough, they didn't catch it. Argh!!! She's going to talk to my doctor, so hopefully he'll have some sympathy on me. He knows my history. The nurse doesn't.

Okay yes, now you are getting somewhere. DEMAND that they talk to your doctor, I'm serious Stef, DEMAND it and tell them you ARE NOT leaving until they talk to your doctor, if he knows your history then he will do all that he can for you.. Don't be all nice to them nurses either, they have not gone through what you have, end of story. Best of luck beautiful

I feel so helpless.  

I'm going to go to the lab and get my blood drawn. Hopefully they'll get my results back by the end of the day.

Ugh   My doctor's office draws blood at the same place for visits   I"m sorry.. I hope you get better news later on today <3
