I don't understand why everyone seems so anxious to "naturally induce" labor at like 35, 36, 37 weeks?! Why do people want to force their babies out?! Can someone enlighten me?!

Probably because they are uncomfortable and anxious to meet their baby!!

That's a terrible selfish excuse though.

I'm in this thread, and it's cracking me up. Women are saying that 36 weeks is full term, and another one said that 99% of babies born after 37 weeks are just fine. I want to know where she's getting those statistics, because they're false.

Hell I'm uncomfortable at 20 weeks lol

There is scientific evidence that they NEED those last few weeks for a lot of reasons, one being brain development:

That's not saying that babies born early are going to be "stupid"... but they WILL have to catch up with brain development.
Here's a good article explaining more:

I am not feeling very good this evening. I am so hungry but not in the mood to eat anything which is making me feel sick. I HATE this. My body can't make up its mind. I am already in the constipation stage, I'm lactose intolerant so I've had milk and coffee and stuff to help me like it was and it's nothing now I guess having flu like symptoms doesn't help my situation any. I'm so over this

Yeah I know but that is the reason why lol
I didn't say it was a good reason.

I think my DH thinks I'm dumb. I fell asleep on the couch, and when I woke up, he was gone. He came back inside and realized I was awake. He was like,"I went down to my truck to get something", but he came up empty handed. Then he immediately went into the bathroom and brushed his teeth. When he came out, he chugged some whiskey to hide the aroma of cigarette smoke. He has been lying about his smoking the whole time we've been together. I'm not dumb. I know he does it. I can taste it and smell it, especially now. I'm not thrilled about his smoking habit. It's nasty and disgusting, and he already has heart issues. I don't want to see him suffocate in his own lung secretions due to lung cancer like my grandpa did. I can't make his decisions for him, I just wish he'd be honest with me.
