I kno tons of people do it. I'm just a baby and haven't had to work in over 7 years lol. She said she may go longer depending how she feels I don't think she will tho, she had to stay long to get her mat leave again cause she got pregnant when her baby was only 7 months.

I worked full-time til 38 weeks with my first, but this pregnancy is already harder than Lola's ever was. I feel like such a baby.

Almost out of the first trimester! I always thought the second trimester started at week 13, but I guess not. I'm just excited to have made it this far. I'm thinking about doing an elective ultrasound at around 16 weeks. What do you ladies think?

I always thought it was 13 weeks too. I think some ppl consider it to be I know some books even say week 13 is. But I think it's the 14th week that is.
What is an elective u/s???
My next one is march 1st, it will be my last too

That's awesome. My sil takes 15 months off after her baby but like I said she had to go back after 12 cause she got pregnant again and needed her mat leave again lol

Stef: If you want. I considered it but I'd rather save that money to get one at like 32/4 wks when they are all fluffy and cute.

Lindsey: There are places down here who'll do an ultrasound but it's your choice so you pay out of pocket.

3D/4D scans freak me out a little. I don't know if I want one of those.

This place does them for $69 - the gender reveal. That's cheaper than the ones I get at my doctor, even after insurance. I still end up paying $120 for each scan.

Oh, and I left my boss a note about going part-time. I might lose my benefits, but my DH has been talking about getting insurance through his job. My mom says I need to get a work restriction from my doctor. She's worried about PTL. They already told me no heavy lifting, but I can't follow that.

Huh, really? I'll have to check around here. Maybe there's a place that'll do it cheap...

me either, ive always thoguht they were creepy. And id never pay to have one done. I kinda dont wanna know what my baby looks like haha.

I can NOT stop coughing... All I do at night is cough cough cough. Ugh. I can't take it anymore. I'm without insurance and my appt is Monday. Looks like I'm gunna have to call and cancel it
