Here, your record is wiped clean 5 years after you served your time... so if you did 15 years for murder, 5 years after you get out of jail it's no longer on your record.

I am D&Ding all minors, not just 14 year olds and the age is definitely a factor in which *I* believe if a minor should be tried as an adult or not. Even at age 14, you should know better. If a 14 year old commits murder, I'm inclined to think she/he has psychological issues that need to be dealt with in a mental hospital.

That is pretty bad, considering serial killers oftentimes go years without killing and then have an outbreak.

Where is this 10 year olds parents?

If a young child is committing a serious crime such as murder, the parents are not doing their job.

I wouldnt say its the parents fault....because maybe he has severe mental or emotional issues. Parenting cant fix that.

I agree. And a good long time in a psyche ward could "save" her, so to speak.

Except....if a kid is that mentally ill that he murders someone, there had to have been lots of warning signs.
My old neighbor kid scared the smurf out of me. I wouldn't doubt something like that from him.
