name help

You wont hurt my feelings if you don't like it I just want your opinion. I'm not pregnant yet but we plan on ttc #2 in November or December.

Girl: Analeigh (on-uh-lee) Faith
Boy: Hunter James

Our DS is Kenneth Douglas if that matters (after my and DHs dad who passed)

I have the same problem with Analeigh that most people have. All I can see is anal or anally.

I personally don't like Analeigh/Analee.

I read it as anally.  But that's probably because I'm filthy that way.

I like Analeigh but think many people will pronounce it incorrectly. A-na-Lee-a, On- ah-leigh, Ann-a- lee.

I don't like Hunter, not at all.

I feel like James and Faith are "filler" middle names, they aren't bad but common, run of the mill MN's I guess.

Analeigh is terrible. Do you not see Anal?

I prefer Anneliese / Annaliese.

Hunter James...meh. I dislike Hunter, and James is a filler. I would prefer Harlan James, Hudson James, Hector James, Henry James...pretty much any other H name besides Hunter.

Uh, yeah there is this too

What about Anelise, Anelisa or Annaleigh, or separate the two into Ana Leigh as a double name FN.

Omg. Lol. I didn't even think about the anal part of it.

I second the Onalee suggestion - I'll also throw out Adelie, Ottilie and Coralie for you to mull over. I would skip the -leigh ending, though, because it's super overdone and trendy.

Boy's name isn't horrible, not my thing - I find Hunter to be overly hick. I love James.

After thinking about some more names and talking to the hubby we came up with two more:

Keira
Colton

I agree with a PP Adalie sounds much nicer.   How about James Hunter? It goes better with your DS's name in my opinion.

I love Kiera (I prefer the Kira spelling, but yours isn't bad) - I like the potential nickname of Cole for Colton.

Kenneth Douglas is a great name. Total classic. It would be great if baby #2 had an equally classic name.

Unfortunately Analeigh sounds super trendy and looks awkward and misspelt. It is the opposite fo classic. And everyone would pronounce is Anna-Lee, unless they were mean kids and then they would pronounce it anally

Hunter James is nice. It definately has a fresh modern sound and is very masculine.
