Hes joining the coast guard....now what??

posted 1st Oct
My son is 18months old, and his dad is joining the coast guard. Right now we have standard papers drawn up, giving me 20% of his income, which he makes 10 an hour. He NEVER takes the baby when hes suppose to have him anyway. So will anything change since he wont be here?

I would take him back to court and get the child support modified.

I have no idea. I had a blonde moment tho and meant custody. child support would be calculated around the custody agreement tho.

Well, I would think he'll be making more therefore, you'll get more for child support especially if you are going to be have the child full time. It's 18% in WI, and when there's job change or custody change, it's best to get it in documents!
