3 months and teething?
posted 1st Oct
Sorry if this is a stupid question.
My son is 3 months old and has been showing signs of teething already. Not sure if I should just call his dr because I'll feel stupid if it's just a tooth. But is it even possible to be coming in this early?
He's been drooling like crazy. I have to keep a bib on him.
He's been chewing his hands alot and he's been pretty fussy.
I looked in his mouth but I don't see any bumps or anything.
I was also told teeth won't come in until about 6 months.
I can't think of anything else that could be going on.

Yes its possible. My DD had four teeth by five months. Natural teething drops worked well for us.

DS had the same signs around the same time which I thought were teething too. He didn't end up cutting a tooth till 9 months. It could be though. Every child is different. It isn't unheard of for a 3 m.o. to be teething.

My son cut his first and second tooth at 4 months old. Sounds like teething to me.
