we had an english teacher at my school. he was very popular with the kids, but he was kind of disfigured. he only had 3 fingers on each hand, his eyes were uncontrolled so they would go off in different directions etc. his left leg was a lot shorter than the right. was all from birth.
a lot of kids made fun of him, but at the same time enjoyed his sense of humor. he was a nice guy. good teacher.

Ohhh the advantages! Think of it as Literally having 2 Actual Teachers in Class! Not Just a Teacher & An aide, but 2 Full Fledged Teachers! 1 to teach & the other to Help at the same time, who's questions/hands are going to be Passed over because a Teacher doesn't see it? One writing on the Board the other taking the Questions!
And that doesn't even Delve into the realm of How everyone Id Different, yet Deserves Respect, no matter what! You know Differences aren't Disabilities!

I've watched their documentaries, and I'm amazed to see how far they have gone. They seem to be wonderful role models and hard workers, and I would love to have a "different" person like them teach my kid. It will teach my kid tolerance and acceptance for those different from themselves.

They both are. I'm fairly certain one of them controls the movements on one half of their body, the other controls the other half.
