Not "poor girl" at all. She is 14 and a freshman in high school. She knew full well she was pregnant because she was hiding it with baggy clothes. She knew what she was doing when she killed that poor baby. 14 or not, she needs to be charged as an adult.

I don't want to read it because stuff like that makes me cry. However, I will say a girl I grew up with killed her 7 month old. Taped a paci in his mouth, wrapped him in a blanket and left him in a closet only to find him dead the next morning. She was 26.

Do people not understand the severity of PPD, PPP and just depression in general?
It really upsets me when people read stories like this and go straight to "that bitch is evil she should be ripped from limb to limb"   People who do things like this obviously need help. Shoving them in a prison cell isn't going to help them. And if/when they get out, they'll be just as troubled as they were in the beginning, if not more.

ETA: I'm NOT saying don't charge them in a court. Not at all. But I'm saying there are alternatives to a normal prison, where she would get her punishment, but HELP at the same time.

Your age has nothing to do with how good of a mother you are....kind of rude to the mothers who are young and are wonderful moms. But thats your opinion I guess. But yes sick nonetheless.

I agree, she knew about it and hid it for months and months...she most likely already planned on killing it when it was born.

IDK. I'm a little sensitive to the subject because I suffered from really bad PPD after my first was born. *shrug*

PPD or PPP? She will be charged as a adult. It would have been better for her to get help early in the pregnancy then kill it.

Adults do this too... has nothing to do with kids having kids.

but none of us know if she planned on doing it.
She could have already made her mind up that she was going to do that, which is possibly why she did not tell anyone, and did all she had to do to hide it from everyone.

That girls an idiot... I was having sex at 14, I had enough sense to prevent pregnancy, and even with the 2 scares *broken condoms* before I was 18, I took my dumb ass to free clinic to get checked, and even then they gave me info on all my options, if anything happened in the future... its soo stupid and sensless... when a dumb kid does it or a grown dumb woman...
