swollen ovaries and clomid
posted 1st Oct
Just left my OB because I haven't had a period in 2 months,I've been cramping and having other symptoms.
They did a pregnancy test, which was negative
She did a pelvic exam and my ovaries are pretty swollen and very tender.
So have to have a ultrasound done to check my ovaries.she also said we could induce a period with medication but since I can't take progesterone its out of the question.I have to wait til Wednesday or next week for the ultrasound.
She brought up clomid and said after they get the results of my ultrasound we can discuss clomid and getting pregnant that way.they only prescribe 5 pills at a time.
If you took clomid how long did it take for you to get pregnant?
Was it sucessful?
Did you have multiples?
Any advice would be great

After trying for 4 yrs, I took clomid to have my 2nd daughter. I had no side effects and was pregnant the 1st month. No multiples and no pregnancy complications. Then I had 3 more in 4.5 yrs without any trying, medication or problems conceiving.

The risk of multiples is around 8%, according to my doctor its low.
It took two Clomid cycles to get pregnant, the first cycle 50mg I didn't ovulate. The second cycle we did IUI and Clomid, we got pregnant with my daughter. TTC #2 I've done a Femara cycle - BFN, and another Clomid cycle that resulted in no pregnancy. My husband also has sperm issues though.
