Yes, I'm pregnant. Yes, I'm 18.

posted 1st Oct
When I found out that I was pregnant, I was expecting every adult that I came across to give me the "your life is going to change" speech. Don't get me wrong I do appreciate every piece of advise and every story. What really gets me is the teens who went through this and speak to me like I'm a lower person now. I'm not ignorant to the fact that my life will change. For the recode I don't go out, I don't spend money, that's not me. I graduated, I'm still attending online college, I still work a job, and the father of my child works a steady job. Just, please stop telling me "my life will change" when you don't know what my life is like now or my past experiences.

Okay, I feel better. Thanks(:

Your life will change no matter how it is now. Doesn't mean it will change in a negatie way but it will never be the same again.

But...your life WILL change.
Doesn't matter if you have a stable life already, it'll still change.

I don't get why you're upset.

You know your life will change, but you get upset that someone tells you that?

Your life WILL change. It changes when you have kids no matter if you're 18 or 35. Kids change stuff.

Your life will change, regardless of age. It doesn't have to be taken as a bad thing. Either way, good luck with everything.

Pregnant or not, life changes. Yours will absolutely change once you welcome your little one into the world. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it just is.

Because those people are right. It will change. Some people underestimate how big of a change that will happen, they take it lightly! No matter how your life is now it will change, kids just change things.. Just deal with it! They are just trying to help!

Life changes anytime you have a baby, it has nothing to do with your age.
Regardless of age people are going to give unsolicited advice and information.

So whether you like hearing it or not "Your life is going to change."
Whatever it was like before unless it was about giving up anything and sometimes everything for another human being, sleepless nights, poopy diapers, having someone throw up on you, get poop on you, or boogers, you cant expect that it would not change.
